PARTNERSHIPS
Analog Devices

In August 2000 Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) and Caveo Technology
announced an agreement to cooperate in the development and marketing
of advanced security products for laptop computers and other
applications.
ADI is a leading manufacturer of precision high-performance
integrated circuits used in analog and digital signal processing
applications. It is headquartered in Norwood, Massachusetts and
employs approximately 9,800 people worldwide.
As a pioneer in the micromachine IC industry,
ADI produced the first fully integrated, single chip iMEMSŪ
(integrated Micro Electro Mechanical System) accelerometer in 1991.
The ADXL202E, used in Caveo Technology's products, is a low cost,
low power, 2-axis accelerometer with extremely powerful and
sensitive motion-sensing capability.
Sensicast Systems
In early 2003 Caveo entered into a partnership
with Sensicast Systems, Inc.
to develop the Sensicast ART Object Alarm System, a unique new
product for museums, commercial galleries and private art
collections. Based on Caveo's touch detection sensor system and
Sensicast's wireless communications technology, the Sensicast ART
Object Alarm System enables the detection of touch and unauthorized
movement of paintings and other precious objects.
Commercial systems are available from Sensicast.
