happens if I forget my passwords? If you've
forgotten or lost the Emergency PIN, you'll need to make two attempts to enter
it. After the second incorrect entry, you'll be prompted to answer the three recovery
questions you provided at initial Setup. Remember that the answers must be identical to those you originally submitted. After you've answered
the questions correctly, you'll be allowed access into the computer. You'll need
to go through the setup process again with Caveo® Anti-Theft. If you
forget the User PIN, you'll need to "steal" the computer to get to the
Emergency PIN window, then follow the same steps described above - i.e., enter
two incorrect Emergency PINs (even if you remember it) to get to the Recovery
Questions. Answering them correctly resets Caveo® Anti-Theft and takes you
back to Setup, where you can choose a new User PIN. |
