| Why
do I hear sounds when the computer is in a moving car or plane? We
recommend you disarm Caveo Anti-Theft if the computer is in a mobile environment. You
may hear an occasional sound from a disarmed computer while traveling by car or
plane. If there is acceleration or deceleration, Caveo Anti-Theft can interpret
it as tilt, and you may hear the signal for Motion Password position 1.
You don't need to be concerned about this. If the sound occurs frequently,
and is annoying, try changing either your Motion Password position 1, or
the position in which you set the computer down in the car or plane. For example,
if Position 1 is near horizontal, and you usually set the computer down in a horizontal
position, Caveo Anti-Theft is more likely to "see" the Motion
Password position in an accelerating/decelerating environment. |
