Caveo Anti-Theft is a security product, and some updates are issued for security reasons. It is important that you check for new updates by visiting our website periodically.

If you register your product, you may choose to be notified by email when updates are issued. To register, complete installation and setup, then go to Start/Programs/Caveo Anti-Theft/Register Online.

Caveo Anti-Theft v1.51 fixes all known outstanding issues in the v1.50 software release.

The v1.51 software also includes a firmware update that permits the Motion Password™ to be used to silence the siren in the event a user accidently triggers the alarm. This does not recover from the stolen state, just simply quiets the alarm.

This update can be installed over an existing software installation.

On Windows 2000/XP systems, please be sure to log in as a user with administrator privileges.

Please disarm and eject your Caveo Anti-Theft device prior to installing this update.

After executing the installer, you will be prompted to reboot. After that reboot, after logging into Windows 2000/XP, you will be prompted for an additional reboot (Windows 98/Me users will not need to reboot a 2nd time). Once the update is complete, you can re-insert the device at any time.

Please note that this update will reset existing recovery questions and answers. These can be re-configured by using the "Change settings..." menu item from the Caveo icon. You will be prompted for the 4 character User Pin and the configuration wizard will appear on the page at which to set the recovery questions and answers.
