Caveo Anti-Theft is a security product, and some updates are
issued for security reasons. It is important that you check for new updates by
visiting our website periodically.
If you register your product, you may choose to be notified by
email when updates are issued. To register, complete installation and setup,
then go to Start/Programs/Caveo Anti-Theft/Register Online.

Caveo Anti-Theft v1.60 fixes the following known issues in the
v1.56 software release:

"No Valid Caveo Anti-Theft Device" error observed occasionally upon start-up on
newer Windows XP machines.
-
CPU Spikes during multimedia playback and volume adjustment.
-
Caveo Anti-Theft can now be used with SpeedStep-enabled systems.
This release supports Windows ME/2000/XP
For all other supported operating systems, this update can be
installed over an existing software installation.
Installation Notes:
-
On Windows 2000/XP systems, please be sure to log in as a user with
administrator privileges.

Please disarm and eject your Caveo Anti-Theft device prior to installing this
update.

After executing the installer, you will be prompted to reboot. After that
reboot, and after logging into Windows 2000/XP, you will be prompted for an
additional reboot (Windows Me users will not need to reboot a 2nd time). Once
the update is complete, you can re-insert the device at any time.

This update will reset existing recovery questions and answers. These can be
re-configured by using the "Change settings..." menu item from the Caveo icon.
You will be prompted for the 4 character User Pin and the configuration wizard
will appear on the page at which to set the recovery questions and answers.
